Most of us have body ‘hang-ups’, so if you’re frantically searching on how to get rid of cellulite, you’re not alone. Actually, it is estimated 90% of women in the UK will have cellulite at some point in their lives. It’s completely natural and no matter what size or shape you are you can still have cellulite – even the slimmest of people.
Shop shelves are busting with all kinds of lotions and potions that claim to help us bust cellulite, but truthfully it can be tricky to reduce its appearance. Shop-bought products often just leave us with more frustration and misleading advice.
Here at our skin specialist salon in Buckinghamshire, we have the perfect treatment proven to reduce cellulite, LPG endermologie®. This 100% natural, non-invasive body treatment reduces the appearance of cellulite without the need for cosmetic surgery – result! Already used by 300,00 people worldwide daily, you too can get your dream body today thanks to the latest generation of LPG endermologie, and our trained skin specialists in our Buckingham beauty salon.
What is cellulite?
Cellulite looks a lot like dimpling on the skin’s surface – you may know it better as ‘orange peel skin’. It can appear on women of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels and is perfectly natural! It’s also much more common in women (super unfair…) due to the difference in the way our fat cells, muscles and tissue are distributed.
It is essentially the result of fat storage and water retention in the body. Put as simply as possible, it’s to do with certain connective tissues that anchor the skin to underlying muscles, with fat cells laying in between. As those fat cells build up, they push against the skin while the tissues continue to pull it down, causing the uneven dimpled skin we all know and some hate.
How does LPG endermologie® get rid of cellulite?
LPG endermologie® is a mechanical skin stimulation technique which reactivates cells’ natural processes. To target cellulite, endermologie® mechanically massages the connective tissues to soften and make them less fibrous. At the same time, this stimulation helps to release stubborn fat and activates blood and lymphatic circulation.
Simultaneously, the mechanical action of the treatment firms skin to tone and reduce the dimple- aspect we all know as cellulite.
When will I see results?
Everybody is different, so the number of sessions you need will vary, but we recommend a course of 10-12 sessions for the best results, with a follow up every 1-2 months. The great thing is, you won’t need to wait until the 12th session to see results, you’ll see them early on and get to watch your skin gradually change and smoothen.
After just 3 sessions, you should already be able to see your cellulite is reduced. But it’s important to complete the full course to ensure your results are optimised.
What are the other benefits?
Not only can endermologie reduce and smooth cellulite, but it also reshapes your body contours and improves overall skin fitness. It’s great for promoting weight loss, so it can help you achieve your 2020 body goals!
While endermologie is an excellent treatment, it’s not a replacement to a healthy lifestyle including a balanced diet and regular exercise. We encourage a course of endermologie alongside these for the best results especially if you’re looking to lose weight.
